Shipping

Bookmarks, postcards and stickers are mailed in an envelope without tracking due to their size and are shipped regularly. 
Our prints are made to order and typically ship within 1-2 weeks of purchase. We use Bpost for all shipments. Originals and prints come with a track and trace number, ensuring they can be followed en route. .

- **Do you ship internationally?**

  Yes, we ship worldwide. Please note that shipping time depends on the weight and fragility of the item, as well as your location.

- **What should I expect in terms of packaging?**

  Please allow up to one week for us to prepare your order for shipping. Every item is carefully packaged by hand to ensure it arrives in perfect condition.

- **What payment methods are accepted?**

We accept a variety of payment methods to make your shopping experience convenient. Currently, you can make purchases using Visa, Mastercard, Paypal and Bancontact. All transactions are secure and encrypted to ensure your information is protected.

Return Policies

- **What is your return policy?**

We strive for complete customer satisfaction. if you are not entirely happy with your purchase, we offer returns under the following conditions:
- Returns must be initiated within 14 days of receipt. To start a return please contact us at vickydarkoart@gmail.com with your order number and the reason for the return.
- Items must be returned in their original condition. To ensure a full refund, the item must be undamaged and include all original materials.
- Refunds are processed upon receipt and inspection of the return. Depending on your card issuer’s policies, it may take several business days for the refunded amount to appear on your account.
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Unless the return is due to a defect or incorrect item received, in which case we will cover the return shipping costs.

Shop Updates 

- **When are new products addes to the shop?**

  I aim to add three small framed originals to the shop each month. The availability of other products can vary, and I announce updates through my Instagram page ☞ instagram/vicky_darko

- **Can I request a custom-made painting?**

 Currently, I am not accepting commissions. The process has proven to be stressful for me, including concerns about meeting client expectations and project timelines. However, if you’re interested in pet portraits, I can recommend a colleague who specializes in this area.

- **Will large oil paintings be sold directly through the webshop?**

  Large oil paintings are first shown at exhibitions and are not initially available in the webshop. I invest significant time in these pieces, sometimes years, and plan to price them accordingly. This approach also allows me to gauge interest and determine the best strategy for selling these paintings.
However, there are high-quality prints of these artworks available in the webshop.

- **How long does it take you to complete a painting?**

  The time it takes to complete a painting can vary. I work with oil paints, which dry slower than other mediums, allowing me to work over longer periods. Some paintings take years, while others may take a few months. I often work on multiple pieces simultaneously, which can alter the completion timeline.
